Meet your gardener
Below I've shared a little about the kind of gardener I am, to help you decide whether I’m the right fit for you and your garden.

How I care for gardens
My work is guided by three core values:
1. Expertise

Drawing on my RHS training, I apply an understanding of plant health and horticultural science to care for individual plants as well as the garden as a whole. This includes pruning shrubs at the correct time of year to minimise stress, protect flowering potential and encourage strong, healthy growth.

2. Sustainability
Minimising environmental impact is central to how I work. Where possible, I use battery-powered tools to reduce emissions, avoid toxic pesticides and herbicides, and choose peat-free composts and other sustainable soil conditioners.

3. Biodiversity
I believe gardeners have a responsibility to work in ways that support biodiversity and strengthen the local ecosystem. In practice, this means using thoughtful planting to provide flowers across the pollinating season, improving soil health through organic mulching, and creating or preserving small habitats that benefit birds, amphibians and invertebrates.
